About Jennifer
Jennifer serves as Senior Data Engineer at VMG, where she leads the development and advancement of DATALINK, VMG’s financial benchmarking and analytics platform. Her work focuses on building scalable data infrastructure, integrating systems, and developing analytics and automation solutions that make complex information more accessible and actionable for VMG members and leadership.
With more than a decade of experience in data analytics, data science, and engineering, Jennifer has developed data and machine learning solutions across a range of industries. Prior to joining VMG, she served as Principal Data Scientist and Data Practice Lead at Delta Bravo AI, where she led a team of data scientists and developed machine learning solutions for complex business and operational challenges. Her previous experience includes data science roles at Ascension and AccuWeather, where she worked with large-scale data, cloud technologies, predictive modeling, and analytics for Fortune 500 organizations.
Jennifer has also been active in data science education and workforce development. While working as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Wichita State University’s School of Computing, she founded the school’s first Data Science Industry Advisory Board, helped shape curriculum around evolving industry needs, and redesigned coursework to give students experience solving real-world data problems. She is also active in the broader data community and has spoken to professional and academic audiences on topics including data-driven decision-making, data preparation, career development, and the practical application of data science.
Jennifer is passionate about using data and technology to solve practical problems and making complex technical concepts approachable to a wide range of audiences. When she’s not working with data, Jennifer enjoys gardening, cooking and baking. Jennifer holds a master’s degree from Wichita State University, specializing in quantitative analysis.
