About Dr. Link Welborn
Dr. Link Welborn is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, certified in Canine and Feline Practice, owner of nine AAHA Accredited hospitals in Tampa, Florida, and an AAHA past president.
He is also a Distinguished Practitioner Fellow of the Veterinary Medicine Academy, National Academies of Practice.
Link is Chief Executive Officer of Veterinary Management Groups (VMG), Chief Veterinary Officer for Covetrus, and a member of VMG-1.
He helped spearhead the development of the VMG/AAHA Chart of Accounts and the Coalition for Connected Veterinary Care.
His awards include the 2022 AVMA Award, AVMA President’s Award, AAHA Practitioner of the Year Award, University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Achievement Award, Florida Veterinary Medical Association Veterinarian of the Year Award and the first AAHA Dedicated Service Award.
