About Sarita

Sarita is a Senior Event Planner and has been an integral part of VSG since its inception in 2009, serving as its first employee and playing a pivotal role in its growth and success. Sarita has worn many hats within the organization over the years, but her primary focus has been meticulously planning and executing meetings for several mixed and small animal groups.

Sarita’s attention to detail and proactive approach have been instrumental in creating seamless experiences for members, understanding their unique needs and preferences to tailor each VMG meeting accordingly. Her commitment to excellence and passion for supporting the veterinary community have earned her a reputation for delivering exceptional and memorable meetings year after year.

Sarita has volunteered, planned, and participated in fundraising events for many organizations in the past such as the American Cancer Society and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is where she learned that her true passion was in event planning. Sarita earned a degree in marketing and management from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL.

In her free time, Sarita enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and fur babies. She loves taking long walks with her dogs and enjoys making healthy meals for her family. Her bucket list includes traveling a lot more in the future and learning how to play pickleball.
