About Candice
Candice Lang’s career in event planning spans more than 15 years, marked by her ability to bring vision, precision, and creativity to every project she touches. She currently serves as an Event Planner with VMG. Her role encompasses every stage of planning—from vendor negotiations and budget management to crafting experiences that inspire and deliver measurable impact.
Candice’s professional journey has taken her through some of the most respected names in hospitality, nonprofit, and corporate events. She has served as the Senior Manager of Event Planning at the Non-Profit FARE, Group Event Services Manager at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C., Meetings Manager at the National Association of Manufacturers, and Event Planning Manager at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. As a consultant, she has also orchestrated events for organizations such as Amazon Web Services, United Way, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Across these experiences, she has built a reputation for managing complexity with grace, cultivating strong partnerships, and creating events that resonate long after the last guest departs.
A graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Organizational Communication and a minor in Art History, Candice combines her planning skills with a deep appreciation for design, culture and guest experience.
When she’s not planning events, Candice can often be found biking around Atlanta or unwinding with her family at Lake Burton. She also loves the energy of live music and concerts, hosting dinner parties, and gathering with friends for book club. Candice lives in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband and their three children, balancing a vibrant family life with a career dedicated to bringing people together in meaningful ways.
