Dr. Paul Glouton

Dr. Paul Glouton has been a practicing veterinarian for 39 years, owning a 5 doctor AAHA small animal practice in Atlanta, GA as well as serving on the management team of a large group-owned Emergency Hospital. In 1997, AAHA named Dr. Glouton the National Outstanding Practitioner of Year.
He is a charter member of VMG 1 and was the original vice president of Veterinary Study Groups until 2007. He has served as a mentor or facilitator for the majority of small animal VMG groups.
Since his retirement from clinical practice in 2010, Dr. Glouton has been a full time member of Veterinary Study Groups Inc. serving as Director of Group Development and Special Projects. He has lectured and authored articles on practice management and currently serves as the facilitator for four VMG groups and has led the VMG Initial Meeting on Fees for the majority of new VMG groups. His special interest is Key Performance Indicator data collection and using the data for benchmarking to improve the efficiency of veterinary practices.
