Job Details
At San Bruno Pet Hospital, the well being and job satisfaction of our team members is our highest priority. One of our vets recently retired after a long and fulfilling career, so we have an opportunity for an experienced vet who wants to practice the best medicine in a supportive, fun, and happy environment where quality of life is always front of mind.
•Established, fun-loving, non-toxic work environment •Competitive salary + great benefits package •Four day work week for full time position •At San Bruno Pet Hospital, part of our mission is to foster our employees’ growth and professional development. Our veterinarians feel that they have found their forever professional home, resulting in high morale and low turnover.
Our practice enjoys the "sweet spot" in many ways. We are big enough to have all the bells and whistles, but we're independently owned so there's no corporate nonsense and our team and clients are like family. We're close enough to the city to enjoy all of the advantages of a major metropolitan area. We have easy access to specialists and emergency hospitals; several of our team members live in San Francisco and find the commute easy; there are unlimited dining, recreation, and entertainment options. But we also enjoy the advantages of the suburbs -- our community is close-knit, our clients live and work in the nearby neighborhoods, and parking is a breeze.
If you join our team, you'll be working with an friendly, happy, collaborative, and experienced team of doctors:
Eric Barchas (Davis, 2000) Courtney Maeda-Brescia (Penn, 2004) Sara Gonzales (Davis, 2005) Jennifer Lawrence (Davis, 2007) Erica Chiu (Davis, 2011) Katie Harrington (Davis, 2011) Robin Heagy (Penn, 2013) Jessica Dewar (Tuskegee, 2014)
Our doctors are always happy to collaborate, and you'll always be working with at least one other doctor (more often 3 or 4) to bounce ideas off of.
In addition to our doctor team, we have a stellar and talented team of technicians, veterinary assistants, customer service representatives, and kennel attendants.
